Alex Kru

The white pupil of the moon looked at her and the land.  It was high up over head as she drove home.  Pale dark light on new fields of grass and hillsides of fresh turned earth.  Thin strips of deep gray cloud would move through the hazy eye dividing it for a time, than leaving it whole and to its self again.  In the boonies she passed by sleeping houses and by trees with black foliage in shapes before the sky and homes.  And she thought about the various circumstances in her life.   They crossed her mind in the way that the clouds slid through the moon and moved on, leaving it again to itself.

Alex is a free spirited creative person whose calls the hills of northern Baltimore County home.  However, traveling is very much a part of her.  She is a writer, musician, back server & food runner, blacksmith and humanitarian.  Creative expression, Africa, stigmatized peoples, spiritual wholeness, forged iron, the natural outdoors and community are main concerns of Alex’s.  For more info continue to check this page out.  She’ll be in Massachusetts for a couple months.  Also check out Alex Kru on itunes where you can download her songs Numbness and Pixie.
